From the Author: The Warriors and Goddesses series is an ambitious project. The series will look at the evolution of male female relationships from their most basic animalistic forms to something hopefully better. It is my view that there isn't a instinctive battle of the sexes, but a communal longing instead.
The series may not suit readers who like a familiar read. It doesn't follow normal conventions, especially in the early books, as there are many characters, and I do not point out with whom one should identify. "Darkasan" is an earthling brought to the alien planet "Androgynous Prime", but is somewhat shadowy, and not the sole focal point.
For those of you who stay with the series, you will see characters from Androgynous Prime appear in our present day earth setting with interesting results.
The series is intended to be social commentary without any preaching, philosophizing, etc. The action is fast paced, and there is sex and sexual situations quite frequently, which will evolve from basic primordial acts to encounters that are a more romantic, erotic, and complex. The natives, however, are not burden with our moral, religious, or social conditioning.
There are also violent scenes, but the violence is done with no true malice other than the struggle for dominance.
I hope the Warriors and Goddesses series will stimulate readers to reflect on ourselves and the society we have created as we watch the Warriors and Goddesses on Androgynous Prime "evolve" from simple skirmishes between males and females, to complex male-female relationships, the forming of political agendas, conspiracies, war as an mechanized institution, and all the other wonderful things of our enlighten civilized world (Not!).
Even if you are not interested in "deep underlining meanings (smile)", there is enough sex, action, adventure and mystery to keep you jumping and wondering what is going to happen next.
